Later this year the family also expect to offer some Christmas products, including mince pies and festive drinks. She said: "We use Lincolnshire sausages and bacon from the butchers." The family pride themselves on having locally sourced ingredients and "fresh" products every day. When asked about her thoughts on the village's response, Charlotte, 24, said: "They have wanted it for so long and have said it's a great thing." "From the roundabout at the McDonalds in Newark to the coffee shop at Torksey, there's nowhere you can just pull up outside and go get a coffee, and that tends to be what people want to do nowadays." Sally named the business Lulu's Kitchen, as Lulu is a nickname she gave her twin daughters as it was a combination of their names, Laura and Charlotte Louise. My mum and dad used to go to the coffee shop at the garden centre nearby and have been to nearly every garden centre in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire but always said that there's no where to have a coffee in Collingham. You won’t regret it. We can’t wait to try their Sunday brunch. It’s a huge slice that should last us a few days :). ![]() We also got a piece of Keylime pie to go because everyone raves about their Keylime pie. So good! Dessert was the chocolate soufflé (best we’ve ever had) with what tasted like homemade vanilla ice cream. We then had the beet and citrus salad which was the best beet salad we’ve ever had, Our third course was fish tacos with the most flavorful mango salsa…YUMMMM. We started out with the meatball which was moist and delicious. From what I understand, the husband is in the kitchen (KUDOS TO HIM!!!), their daughter helps out and chef’s wife also spoke with us as well as the sweetest young lady named Whitney. It’s overpriced and underwhelming to say the least. Wow! Let me start off by saying we are total foodies and after living in Hilton Head for six years, we have been sorely disappointed in the food seen here. We just left this place after deciding to eat lunch there on a whim.
